# 5 - What about lunch? Winnie the Pooh Picnic

Entry # 1: “A Gilded Autumn” | A fancy Victorian dinner with vintage china and gold accents. Adorable tablecloth embroidered by the fashion designer in the family, @tangy_tia (we loved the cute corner bows 🎀) Fall menu and specialty cider cocktail by creative organizer @maliyarob - Painted birdcage and delicious shortbread and pecan tartlets by matriarch and pastry chef @pippapion - Graphic design and florals by @jessabutlerart - they had a great idea putting insect incense in tea cups in the grass around the table! “As the sun set, we feasted, talked, and laughed. Perfect night with women in my life that I don’t get to see enough of.”

Entry # 2 - The Addams Family Picnic | It was a ghastly night in the unpleasant atmosphere of Warwick Furnace Farm, the picnic set with bouquets of headless thorny roses and Thing holding the black stained candlestick to illuminated the eerie evening. The red menu consists of unpalatable tomato soup, stinking cheese, and murdered baby tomatoes, gushing danishes, oozing grapes, and homemade scones with clotted and horrific filling. A truly terrible night had by all... This horrible picnic was presented by Carrie and her family. ❤️🥀

Entry # 3 - Dearest Gentle Eater: A Bridgerton-Inspired Picnic | Featuring candles and dried flowers from @hennyfaireco dreamed up by returning picnic contestant @samanthainpa - this charming spread features provisions from local businesses with a tea pot flower and feather centerpiece surrounded by a cascade ring of Orange Ginger Crisps and tea cup floral arrangements. Each guest place has a printed name card (we didn’t confirm but imagined it had some entertaining gossip printed on the back). A chess set representing the monarchy stands at the ready for an after picnic game.

Entry # 4 - A Birthday Picnic Surprise on the Hilltop | Croissant sandwiches, an abundant charcuterie board and tea with dessert dainties and a piped flower cupcake cake by @cakeadifference adorned this sweet table. Contest submission by Nancy Ryan.

Entry # 5 - What about lunch? Winnie the Pooh Picnic | “It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like, ‘What about lunch?’”—Winnie the Pooh. Blustery Day Picnic with Pooh & Christopher Robin, this special mother and son fall picnic on the hilltop stole our hearts... Homemade hunny honey bread, cheese, leaf shaped chips, and biscuits enjoyed with a stuffed fluffy friend and aptly some bees came to join! 🩵💛 @thehiraethstudio

Entry # 6 - Strawberry (Lavender) Fields Forever | Fresh berries, sweet cakes, a bounty of very end of summer produce from @fulltablefarmpa, and whimsical artisan candles by @artifaqtdesign molded from real asparagus spears & a slice of @birchrunhills Blue Cheese round out our next contest submission. Digging in with dear friends made the evening all the more delightful. Submission by @oolenberg , @burdgese , @tessalovesbread and @clobosco

Entry # 7 - Moroccan Oasis | This multi-sensory delight was crafted by returning competitor @observer.of.human.nature (You may recall her incredible cowgirl-themed entry from last year.) Once again, she has pulled out all the stops to create a truly transportive experience. From the whimsical tent and vibrant textiles to the very functional mini camp grill, everything looked and smelled incredible. No detail was overlooked—from the menu featuring pita, multiple dips, chickpeas, grilled meats, falafel, and grape leaves, to a full carpet, pillows, and lantern décor, with Kathryn and her partner dressing the part. It was a sumptuous meal, and the smoke from the camp grill added a mouthwatering aroma and heightened the magical ambiance as it hovered over the fields.
