  • Clothing Guidelines - pinterest board with examples

    Vibe: Old Timey, English Countryside Farmer/Gardener, South of France, Anne of Green Gables

    Natural fabrics (like linen, wool, or cotton etc) in neutral earth tone colors (french blue, moss green/dark green, creams, tans, dusty lavender), floral patterns, stripes & plaids (pattern should look old)

    Dresses/Skirts: Below the knee to maxi length, top with sleeves (no straps or strapless unless layered with a shirt), encourage layering with petticoat/bloomers underneath

    Or: Overalls, Jumpsuit, Farm Pants w/ vest or suspenders with button down shirt and/or henley shirts

    Knit Sweaters or Chore Jackets on top in colder weather.

    Footwear - Hunter Boots or Similar, Riding Boots, Farm Boots (natural fiber socks if visible) - make sure they are comfortable for you to stand in for long periods.

    Jewelry - Minimal but antique looking

    Nails - Natural, Lavender, or French Blue

    Hair & Makeup - Natural, Hair Down or Loose Braids or Bun - ribbons if desired
