Painting En Plein Air

RAIN OR SHINE

Join us with your painting and easel for an en plein air painting exhibition to showcase the natural beauty captured on canvas at Warwick Furnace Farm. Artwork can be available for sale at the artists discretion and all profits will go directly to the artist. In lieu of a gallery commission, artists who do sell their work at the show can elect to make a donation to the restoration efforts of Warwick Furnace Farm if they so choose in any amount they deem appropriate.

Artists are encouraged to invite guests, and an invitation will be sent out to the farm’s mailing list and promoted on our social media channels. We will offer lavender themed refreshments though guests are welcome to bring their own wine or picnic. We ask that all guests wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

If you would like to participate please fill out the form below by SEPTEMBER 14th.

Artists will display their work on easels in the fields (weather permitting as a contingency we will set up in the dairy barn). Artist must bring their work by 1:15 pm on September 26th or make arrangements to deliver it in advance. Artwork will also be curated on an online gallery featured on our website.

Website Feature

We will feature a gallery of artwork made on the property on our website and for promotion of the exhibit on social media. Please send a good quality image of your artwork to claire@warwickfurnacefarm.com by September 14th.

COVID 19 Policy

At Warwick Furnace Farm we have been taking precautions to stay safe and to keep those around us safe; and have followed social distancing and quarantine measures since early March. We’d like to ensure a safe environment for visitors to the farm.

To that end, we ask all guests to follow department of health social distancing guidelines:

Households will maintain a 7 ft or greater distance from each other
Everyone must wear a mask

Weather Policy

Unfortunately, weather in our valley can be unpredictable. In the case of inclement weather, we will move the exhibition into the dairy barn.
